Updates to Recorder’s Office During COVID-19

Our office is still open for recording.

The Recorder’s Office IS OPEN for necessary business. You DO NOT need an appointment.

We do ask that you sign-in at the front desk BEFORE entering the record room.

NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE OFFICE BEFORE OR AFTER NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU REVIEW EVERY TRANSACTION TO ENSURE THAT ALL DOCUMENTS AND RECORDING FEES ARE CORRECT.  ALSO- PLEASE INCLUDE A SEPARATE CHECK FOR AUDITORS FEES.

(THIS INCLUDES THE .50 cents  $1.00 ect. for Auditor fees) OUR OFFICE IS NOT ABLE TO CASH CHECKS IN THE TREASURER’S OFFICE.  SO WE WILL NOT BE GIVING ANY CHANGE FOR ANY REASON.  ANY TRANSACTION THAT IS NOT CORRECT WILL BE RETURNED UNRECORDED.

We continue to urge everyone to MAIL IN recordings unless absolutely necessary.

We also recommend that you call the office before traveling 740-699-2140.

We will do our best to post any changes or updates, as the situation is constantly changing.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
